Cowper Wharf, also colloquially known as the ‘Finger Wharf’, is located in the inner Sydney-city suburb of Woolloomooloo. The Wharf boasts some of Sydney’s most iconic and respected restaurants, a luxury marina, hotel & apartments, whilst also offering spectacular panoramic views of the city and harbour from the water’s edge.
The properties include lots 6, 7 and 8, which are leased to the award-winning restaurants, Otto Ristorante and Kingsleys. The restaurants are owned by ‘best in class’ hospitality groups, Fink Group (who also owns 3-hatted Quay restaurant), and Dixon Hospitality (owner of 20+ bars and restaurants around Australia), and both having long-term leases in place.
The combined properties take up 1,390m2 of GLA, with 61.7m frontage that draws year-round crowds of both locals and visitors to the city, controlling almost half of all the retail area on the wharf.
The Ganellen asset management team coordinated the new Lease and refurbishment for Kingsley’s with considerable improved income which unlocked significant value. As well as expanding the GLA with approvals for additional mezzanine floor space.
